Exciting arrival 14 April 2025

We are delighted to share these exciting pictures of what we believe to be ‘our’ last year’s male osprey*. He touched down at 8.00 a.m and then continued to revisit the nest on and off for a couple of hours, which included bringing nesting material.

The ever-present jackdaws may look like a welcoming committee but they are more likely to be opportunistically eyeing up the nesting material for their own!

• We are all "as certain as we can be" without leg rings that this male is the UVO resident from 2024.
